J. Fred Hadlich joined the team. Bringing years of composite fabrication experience and an A&P/IA, AI Systems is now able to offer the complete package in aircraft maintenance, modifications, builder's assistance, research & development, and more!
Today, AI Systems is involved in numerous builder-assist projects as well as some exciting research and development into new aircraft.
Meet The Management Team
J. Fred Hadlich
President
Fred brings with him over 20 years of experience in all things aviation. As the owner of AI Systems, Fred prides himself in the extraordinary, cutting-edge projects crafted within our hangars, and finds joy in seeing completed projects fly away to happy customers. During Fred’s free time he loves spending time with his family, wake surfing, and camping.
Jon Hadlich
Founder
In our beginnings, Jon utilized his extensive knowledge of aviation electronics to found AI Systems, Inc. Now, with more than 40 years of expertise, Jon leads our avionics department in implementing, maintaining, and upgrading all electronic components of each aircraft that enters our shop. He prides himself in building quality components and ultimately achieving customer satisfaction. In his free time, Jon finds joy fishing and making pottery.
Megan Arseneau
Office Manager
Our office manager, Megan, is often the first point of contact at A.I. Systems and takes pride in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of our office and administrative matters. Megan’s strong organizational skills and drive for efficiency support our team’s schedule, processes, and overall success. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and painting.
Lyle Webber
Manufacturing Manager
Lyle grew up in Mitchell and moved to Prineville in high school, where he met his wife, Becca. Before joining AI Systems, he specialized in composite pre-preg layups at Epic Aircraft. For the past three years he has led hands-on upgrades, repairs, and designs while overseeing manufacturing. Outside work he enjoys home projects, target shooting, and time in the Ochocos. A hard worker who always brings a positive attitude, Lyle was our 2025 Employee of the Year.
Ken Hurson
Avionics Manager
Ken is our Avionics Manager, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of all our aircraft avionics and instruments. With a background in telecommunications and extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, he brings strong expertise in low-voltage wiring. Ken keeps our team current on the latest avionics developments and spends most of his time working hands-on with each panel. In his free time, he enjoys Central Oregon’s outdoors, listening to music, and spending time with his three kids.
